What is a talent pool?

A talent pool is a database of candidates created by aggregating CV’s during the recruitment process. When a candidate applies for a job you post, our software parses their CV and is then able to put them into a specific and relevant talent pool using keywords to tag candidate profiles and which scores their suitability to the role.

 

This could be based on job title, experience, professional membership, or specific skills for example. It is important to remember that the individuals that are in the talent pool(s), are already interested in working for your organisation. The candidate can be qualified by two statuses; active, and passive.

ACTIVE 

The candidate has applied for an advertised role through the client's website, job board posting, or through our website/app.

The candidate has registered interested in looking for work, but no active roles at that time and may otherwise be engaged. They may be suitable for a future role and can be contactable through People Pool.
